Site skipping back and forth between showing and linking to the most up-to-date posts and then posts from a few hours ago.

I'm on a laptop now. The new posts notifications keeps coming back, even though I've read all the threads in questions.

Touch site is all over the place this morning.

New posts not showing, opening old pages, 'latest posts' page showing blank

What's the bet all these problems will continue until someone shows up for work on Tuesday morning to turn it off and on again.

The site might need to be brought to the vet to put it out of its misery :(

Think we're experiencing a time warp - goes back to earlier this morning and then reverts to current spasmodically. We may be stuck with this until Tuesday unless one of the developers drops by in the meantime

Isn't there some mechanism to put out a site-wide announcement to let people know there are ongoing issues?

Another SQL error on touch too. I remember boards having loads of errors over a long weekend. This is going to go on until Tuesday morning I bet.

No cover at weekends which everyone knows so that's when the attacks errors occur

Just a crazy way to run a website.

On the full site, I'm now getting empty posts when I click on a link.

Looks like the servers are out of sync as each time I click a link, it's pot luck as to whether the post is there or not.

Apparently "there are no recent posts" in latest, site must be very quiet.

I intermittingly getting that stupid poem up, change the record will ye..

Midnight dreary, every time I try to check the weather forecast or update on the weather forum your ridiculous poem pop's up and I'm wondering am I barred again...

Then after maybe 3 goes I get into the weather...

I keep getting served older versions off pages even though I’ve cleared my cache etc. - even clicking on here just now it showed me as the last person to post which, clearly is not the case. Forums keep bouncing back from feeding me the current page and older versions of the pages/threads.

Are there really no staff working outside business hours?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,617 ✭✭✭Tork

There wasn't the last time this happened. Nothing will be done until Tuesday morning.
