During the late 1980s, Chris Cary had a UK-based satellite station called Radio Nova International, as distinct from his previous Dublin pirate Radio Nova.

So, who is currently involved with Irish radio that was with Radio Nova International?

I can think only think of two names at the moment: Pat Courtenay of the similarly named Dublin rock station Radio Nova (ironically!) and Jim O'Neill of Wicklow's East Coast FM. Jim, of course, would be well known as a Radio 2 (2FM) presenter before Radio Nova International, and, later, Century Radio, 98FM and Today FM. In relation to licensed Irish radio, Pat would have been previously associated with 98FM.

    So, any more current examples?

    Liam Quigley.

Nova international studio equipment was originally the Energy 103 equipment (which of course was Zoom 103s equipment which was Novas equipment )

I was half-thinking about Liam Quigley. He was last heard on terrestrial radio on Radio Nova (the rock one!). More recently he has been on online station Music One.
