Hope it's better than P&R.. but chuckled at the coronavirus bit in the ad so that's one more chuckle than the entire P&R reunion episode.

The 30 Rock Covid-19 special was great.

I should also add it is just one big ad for the Peacock streaming platform.

I have no idea what put this my head earlier but it is a line from an old TV show (possibly a movie but pretty sure it is a TV show).

There is a plot against the hero and the would-be assassin visits a guy in prison (that the hero got locked up) for information.

The prisoner says " (Heroes name) never carries a loaded gun, and he won't kill"

Does anyone have a clue what this show is

First thing that springs to mind is Batman. I can't remember the specific line but he's the first hero I can think of who it would apply to.

With the delays due to the pandemic, I was wondering what's the biggest gap between seasons of an ongoing US series? Not counting shows like Twin Peaks or XFiles which had been cancelled. Probably something like Westworld?

Someone's been lashing up a load of ER clips. It's definitely dated...those early days, though.

I predict Chicago Hope will be a much more critically acclaimed series...

I see Kat-trin Thomas, long term RTE canteen resident is clogging up the roads with a camper van in a new series about creating lines of traffic behind a camper van.

Shudder... have memories of being stuck behind a campervan convoy in Normandy in baking heat.

The best thing about that trailer is that JoBlo stopped their shouty outro at the end of their trailers.

I guess the nostalgia arc has finally, truly settled into the 1990s?

With Perry Mason ending, I remembered True Blood had a bit at the end of its first season saying shooting on season 2 was underway, showing clips of them filming.
Has any show done that recently or what other series have done it?

Does anyone know why the BBC World News has no adverts on their channel? I've always found that interesting.

It's BBC, there are no adverts on any BBC channel, TV or radio, it's all publicly funded.

Ermm they do - licence fee is not used for it - or I'm pretty sure I've seen advertising on it.
