    Hi guys,
I want to buy a 161 Audi A3, the nct is out of date since March and was cancelled with covid. Will my insurance transfer since the car will have no nct? I have it booked in the new car for October.

Have you tried asking your insurance company? Even if you get an answer here, other peoples insurance providers might have different rules.

The only ones who can answer this with any accuracy is your insurance company.

Depends on the insurer but last week chill (rsa policy) wouldn't let me do a temporary switch to a car with an out of date test. Most other companies will be the same as the test centres are open despite the massive backlog in some parts of the country.
