RockShox Debonair Spring: Lost Travel

I recently upgraded my Solo Air spring in my 180mm Lyrik to Debonair (180mm), but now the available travel seems to be below 180mm: something like 170mm maybe. Has anyone experienced this, or heard of it happening?

Just to conclude this thread: it was my imagination, there was no loss in travel.
