Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Didn't realise the Leinster Schools Football final was played today. And live aswell!

    Could be one for the live thread but best to set up one to alert anyone that might be interested for online games.(Club, County,Schools, Colleges etc)

    Wexford GAA are also hosting championship games on their new platform called WexfordGaaTv. It costs €5 per game to watch the Senior Championships online.

    Great stuff,Mayo GAA will using their tried and tested platform Mayo GAA TV for same.

    Offaly will be streaming games for €5 each.

    Three out of four Senior A football games will be shown this weekend

    Gaa Go this weekend -

    Friday evening opens with hurling from Limerick where Na Piarsaigh and Kilmallock clash at 7.30 Irish time. Sunday's 2 games throw in at the same time 2.30pm. Sarsfields take on Portumna in the Galway hurling championship and Carbery Rangers face Castlehaven in the Cork football championship

    I think they're missing a trick here. They were looking for €20 to watch the 4 games in Galway last weekend... that's far too much IMO.

    It should be a flat monthly fee or a far lower one off fee.

    The players arent even being paid ffs and it's a club game.

    Sure they'll get the die hard either way but they wont get the likes of my money when they're looking for half the price of admission to watch it online.

    This is being extremely badly handled by almost every county board, anytime anyone complains about matches being on sky can just point to the fact that the club games were so expensive.

    You can get Sky Sports for €10 a day on NowTV but some counties are charging €8 for 1 match, it's shocking really. Personally, if Clare GAA were to offer a season ticket for all matches for €100 or less I'd sign up but I definitely won't be paying €7.80 for 1 match.

    Season ticket holders should not have to pay for the live stream of their county club championship. Would never ask for a refund on my yearly €200 club plus season ticket but surely any county streaming their club games should give their season ticket holders a promo code to watch the games for free.

    Its the same in Kilkenny atm. €6 per match and the first match that's been streamed is a Junior Hurling match! Compared to the WATCHLOI streaming deals that was announced on Wednesday it's very poor to awful value.

    Some of those prices are shockingly high. €7.80 in Clare for 1 match and probably 1 low resolution camera to boot! That's farcical. And then you have Cork doing it for free. Very badly handled all round.

    It's a fiver in some cases a bit more in other counties. A percentage of it will go to the county board of your county who have very little income currently - don't see what people are complaining about tbh. Yeah if you compare it to professional sports subscription packages it's not amazing but why get stressed about that. People are gagging for a bit of GAA championship action - it's actually here!!! I'm on a pitch this weekend with my own club and everyone is delighted to be playing championship ball. Would have said very little chance of that even 2 months ago. Pay if you want no one is forcing you.

    Because it's over priced. €6+ for a Junior match!! €8 in Clare! €10 in Tipperary! It doesn't do anyone any good if people won't pay prices because it's too expensive. The club/county get nothing out of that and it just leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
