Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Postal VAT and Custom Charges from outside EU

15-07-2020 3:25pm#1This comes up every now and then. I have previously paid charges for US online shopping but here are some offical insights.
Customs Docket
My VAT charge was €6.85, the An Post handling fee was €10.00.
The fee is calculated at 1% of value or minimum €10.00 for processing customs charges.
