    Hi
I have a yearling heifer who when she chews the cud brings up green/brown in colour cud which discolours the area beneath the chin.
She is not thriving like the others.
She suffered greatly last year with 2 types of blood scour which nearly killed her
I am not sure that had any bearing on her.
    Has anyone seen this before?

check her mouth, she may have a cut to her tongue or jaw.

Two cases here, few years ago on rented ground, a cow cut her tongue on concealed barbed wire in the grass and the other, last year, a calf had a piece of sharp hard plastic wedged in his jaw. Vet call out for both cases.
