I was thinking since most of the treads that's running are sh!te ( was going to say poop, jaysus) at the moment I though I'd add some more excrement to the pile.

I'd imagine there are posters who get a hard on when they see certain threads atheists v god. Christians v atheists, some posters get stick because the start a thread, some posters love to give stick( i'm one). The poor demented take AH Serious. Some posters love sex, drugs, football, etc threads.

So the question is what do you like to post on and what threads really annoy you and what threads do you love.

    My two favorite threads are
Lyrics that give a song away
    A story in six words.
But I'll post on almost anything to amuse myself or rile another poster(which I've done in the past) happily.

Click on the persons name , a drop down menu will appear, at the bottom theres a "add to ignore list" - add them to that.....

My list is long, but , I can still see the person has posted, but not the post …..

I bet you end up reading all the posts anyway. The sort of person who’d maintain an ignore list is the type of person who couldn’t help themselves reading what has been posted just so they can justify having blocked that poster in the first place.

Ok. I humbly apologise for my ignorance I'm only aware of the thread now. Does that thread ask posters what they like or dislike about threads?

Big "what's the etiquette here?" fan. Also, less revolting, is the Interesting Maps thread, full of well...interesting maps.

The 'I Bet You Didn't Know That....' thread. Love that one, interesting tidbits from all and sundry on everything from movie trivia to particle physics and nearly everything inbetween with amusing, interesting and sometimes thought provoking contributions from all kinds of posters. I love that sort of thing, it drives home that the more you know the more you realize you don't know.

There was a thread years ago where we posters did impressions of other, well known, posters. Very funny stuff. You couldn't do it now due to the fact that site has grown and also people are too thin skinned these days.

Post your lookalikes was another gas thread back when people were a bit less cautious about that kind of thing.

Threads like those such as "Draw the username" I thought were always good fun.

More recently Omackerel's Crisp Tournament thread was a great reminder of what AH used to be back in the good ole days.

The original tournament threads and the purge threads were great craic.

I like reading the weather forum when there's a chance of snow, thunder, storms etc. Some very knowledgeable posters there.

The thread about former boardsies was compelling until it was shut down. More clampers about these days, one need only speculate to accumulate cards.

I always like to wander over to the weather forum whenever theres some big weather event happening. The sense of giddyness and excitement from the regular posters is brilliant, lads creaming themselves over the thought of a dump of snow or a good storm.

Have you a link to the one with the impressions? A new one could be hilarious.
