umbrella company versus paye

    what are the advantages/disadvantages of using of going self employed (working under umbrella compay) compared to going paye?
    I work in IT and agency was onto me about a role but the role is day rate based compared to paye.

    Go get yourself a proper accountant, be aware of the risks and tax liabilities and how to "game" the system regarding expenses.

    The risks are it is ALL on you. You will have to engage a proper solicitor/accountant.
    The pro are you can expense yourself, training, business After hours, home office etc etc and then pay tax after that not before. lessen your tax payable.

    Real advice? get proper advice from a proper professional before proceeding.
