Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Don't often ask for transfer advice, but with two free transfers Auba to Vardy and Saka to Pulisic . Am I missing something :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,714 ✭✭✭Cartman78

    2 FT.....Son to Pullisic/Willian and maybe Jiminez to Jesus/Vardy.

Chasing points and blocking rivals at this stage

No, those look like very solid moves!

Seriously considering GRU in for DCL

Have exact money for Saka/Jimi to William/Vardy.
    Watching this game very closely.

Would leave me with an unwanted DCL though. If Vardy stays quiet could do DCL to Giroud also. Really enjoyed owning him pre-lockdown

Saint Max out, have funds for either Willian or Pulisic, any advice on which one to go with?

And then Saka sets up Auba :)

Either bank and play Fernandez away to watford with DCl first sub
    Or
Bring in a defender for Egan ( probably should )
    Money no object .
Mendy , PVA , Aurier and Digne who are in my thoughts . Evertons fixtures are next week are nice
    Or
Hit to get Vardy for DCL
Tricky who to sell as part of the hit though. and who to drop to accommodate him so least likely option

And he almost returned the favour. This is why I love and hate FPL :) I sold Auba for Greenwood this GW.
Saka on my bench last week and this week

Jimi to Vardy looks like the obvious move but I'm just not feeling it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,399 ✭✭✭✭ThunbergsAreGo

Nketiah to Vardy depending on the matches over the next few days

7.5m burning a whole in my pocket!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,039 ✭✭✭✭Fitz*

    Possibly Jimi to Vardy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,039 ✭✭✭✭Fitz*

    Vardy is in form now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,355 ✭✭✭Porthallian

DCL to Vardy is the obvious move as I have 4m to spend. Those fixtures though... Jimi or DCL to Vardy? Neither are in great form.

    Possibly Jimi to Giroud

Interesting option, watched last 2 Chelsea matches and giroud looks sharp

Just did DCL to Vardy with my free transfer as DCl could drop in price tonight.

Was keeping an eye on that myself but loathe making transfers out before the player has even played

Did people not think Leicester looked a little bit impotent until Arsenal went down to 10?

I'd only be bringing Vardy in this week if I'd an easy route there from a player that I wasn't too pushed into keeping, I certainly wouldn't be moving parts around to bring him in.

    Famous last words etc

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,039 ✭✭✭✭Fitz*

Jimi & Vardy are not near price rises or drops so will hold out yet. Let see how Jimi & Bournemouth fare first.

I also have a Otamendi & KDB problem.

    Am thinking

Son & Auba to Vardy and Sterling for a -4

F**king Son dropping eliminates that option

I see dcl mentioned so much . He has no goals or assistance in the last 4 games since comeback .
But has played nearly every minute .
I know he has to hit the back of the net sometime
But might be worth lookin at replacement after this gw

DCL would want to start DHL delivering soon

Banking and likely to get Pulisic and Ings in for 36.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,428 ✭✭✭Shedite27

    Sarr out.

    Pulisic has 4 games left,
    shu
    NOR
    liv
    WOL
Apart from the NOR game where I'll FH to get him in, don't think I'm bothered about the rest.

Might take a punt on Antonio for the trip to Norwich

Jiminez to vardy and captain vardy

I've Jota rotting away on bench, never got a chance to get rid. Worth a hit to get Greenwood in?

Golden boot seems to be a motivator for Klopp too
I’m getting Vardy and then Ings after that

He needs to stay in touch with them though to avoid being rested I would think. A few more here and he is a season keeper imo.

3 in the last 2 from Vardy has not helped

Golden boot or no golden boot, I am more likely to captain than transfer out Salah against Burnley.

Between him and Vardy for me
That’s a tough game United have Monday night
Kdb the other option of course

I'm going to hold off on Vardy until I see Bournemouth play Spurs. Surely they have to improve or they're going down.

    They are awful

Those first 2 things are true, and yet I think they're not going to be 12 goals in 4 games bad the whole way either.

At some point, he will have to do like Smith did at Villa and sacrifice the attacking threat to stop the bleeding. I didn't move to Kane this week and I feel like I probably won't do Vardy at the weekend either. Maybe I would if I had an easy route there, but I don't think Jesus will be leaving my team after the early sub and looking super dangerous the last 2 games and him having Bournemouth himself the game after.

This is exactly why I think they are going down
    He won’t
He is either too arrogant or too stupid

Maybe after the Spurs game tomorrow I will have a whole different viewpoint on this. For now, I'm happy enough with only having Aurier tomorrow and only expecting to have Justin at the weekend.

1 FT and will try to bank. GW36 looks mouthwatering.

Can i just get Salah back in.....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,333 ✭✭✭✭PARlance

I'll be getting Salah back in. He's greedy at the best of times and I would expect him to be looking for Klopp to start him/get the golden boot.

    Harsh.

I like Bournemouth and Eddie Howe.

Fantastic what they’ve achieved and play good attacking football.

Have been very very unlucky with injuries and seem to carry some very good, but injury prone, players.

I’d love to see them stay up.

Bar an injury in the Man Utd game I’ll be carrying my FT

Edit - I fancy Bournemouth to get a result against Spurs but can’t remember if Wilson is back from suspension or not.

He must be available because he’d still be red flagged until the game is played otherwise

Looks like Jimi might drop tonight.

I was going to sell him this week for Vardy, but I think I might hold him for another week, so that I can swap Otamendi out for KDB for a -4.

I have plenty cash so not going to rush this one for the sake of 0.1.

Anyone like to guess if TAA and Salah start against Burnley?

I’m with KM, I’ve a real blind spot for these c**ts, if I don’t have them they’re on fire, if I do they’re rank

    Good riddance
