    Damn it, up against almost anybody else I'd definitely be on Team Brick....but you can't have Fr. Ted without Fr. Ted.

    So I vote Ted. But Brick would have been a worthy final opponent if the draw went differently.

    Thanks Necro- a great thread. If there was an award for Boardsie of the month, you'd get it :)

    Any predictions for the last 4 people? I predict Fr Dougal won't make it - don't know why, just a feeling. I think Bishop Brennan will be there and hopefully Ted himself. Pat Mustard and Richard Wilson are very strong contenders- it would be closely fought if they went head-to-head before then.

    I honestly think O'Hanlon is a realy poor actor. His wooden style kind just about works for Dougal as the dimwit but if you ever see him in My Hero, or Death in Paradise, he's really bad. I'd also say that Dougal is a bit of a one trick pony (as is Jack and Mrs Doyle). Ted is the best of the main four. But I'd say there are supporting characters that deserve to make up the other final four in this compeition over any of the regulars.

    I'd say Ted, Bishop Brennan and Pat Mustard would be safe enough bets for the final four. Maybe Fr. Noel Furlong for the last spot. Of course, they could come up against each other in next round depending on how the draw goes; the gods of fate have already robbed us of the Brick. :(
