Paint roller and extension pole

    I am going painting the exterior of the house soon so I need buy a roller and tray and extension pole

    Regular plastered wall so I be using a medium roller. A 9inch I guess which is the common size.

    What’s the best type of roller to buy A Harris or a Purdy or something else maybe

    Are those corner rollers any use or better off sticking with the brush

    The two you mentioned are very good also the T-Class is another good one.

    I've never seen any professional painters using them so can't imagine they would give any advantage.

    Dont buy a tray, get a good bucket made for roller.

    I think I have a harris one that i painted my house with. It's the one per photo attached. I had been using a different one until I got that one. That one I had was crap. Light weight and too flexible when the pole was extended that you couldn't get any real force on the roller as the pole would bend. That one is pretty good. Make sure whatever you get has the screw on fitting as the press fitting is crap

    12" 15" or 18" roller the only way to go.Plus Scuttle to match.Considering we are on the topic I have a 30 foot Gable to do this week,Longest extension pole I have is a 16 foot.Anyone know where I can purchase one up to 30 foot or less.May have to look on Window cleaners site???

    Would an identical pole to the one you already have; screw I to the base ?

    Bottom of the large poles I have are hollow fiberglass. Tried it before with not much success. I done a similar house by standing on my 6 thread ladder for the high couple of feet. Has to be an easier way. Regretting I priced the job without the use of machine with boom or Scissors lift. Will have to cut it in using a 40 foot ladder,horrible.
