Meme Wars Tournament

Hello all,

I was hoping to try a new style of tournament here on the forum.

The idea is that we have a poster vs poster showdown tournament.

Anyone interested can sign up here and when we have a number suitable to tournament brackets (4,8,16,32 (i wish )) then we can create the battles that will decide who advances.

How will the battles take form? Well, via memes of course!

Each person will select 3 memes per battle and PM them to me before the battle starts.

Each battle will be a back and forth, with 1 person selected at random to 'serve' the first meme, with the second person selecting 1 meme from their nominated 3 to 'return'.

I will post the memes so that who picked what meme remains anonymous and bias towards one poster or another doesn't (hopefully) take place.

Whichever player has the most 'thanks' from other users on their 3 combined memes will win the battle.

There will be open rounds where those battling can choose any meme they like, and themed rounds where i will give them a theme or style of meme to choose.

This is the first time we will have tried this, so we will figure it out as we go a bit.
