overpay on a temporaray fixed rate ?

    Hello, I was on a variable rate with my mortgage and changed to 2.9% fixed rate which is due to revert back to varaible in June 2021. I am in a position to overpay more than i am currently overpaying but as i am on a fixed rate will i be penalised if i do choose to overpay?
