Recommend a mid-week hotel in Belfast

    Rather than gong to Spain etc thi year... we thinking of doing a trip up the Irish coast Mayo onto Dinegal and across to Belfast and stay 2 nights in the city. Then back to visit relatives in Longford on way home

    We hope to go in mid-August by car by 2 people.

    I never been to Belfast and so would appreciate some recommendations for double room around €100 to €120 per night. And must have car park8ng facilities on site.

    Anyone have any ideas??

    Stayed in the clayton hotel for 3 nights in Belfast last year. Great location. 5min walk from all the shops /restaurants/main city centre area.

    It was quite reasonable and that was on a bank holiday weekend in August.

    The hotel was spotless, comfy beds, quiet at nighttime.

    Europa is absolutely fantastic. Proper luxury and great location. Was looking at prices on their site at the weekend and there was a good few days available in your price range. They also had a 25% discount if you book 2 nights.

    Balmoral hotel.. Excellent spot.. Bit further out of town.. But easy access to city centre and bus stop outside hotel if u don't fancy driving.. Good food and reasonable prices

    I really enjoyed the Titanic hotel. Had a 3 night midweek stay there in November 2018.
    Within walking distance of the city, lovely history about the hotel and the breakfast was really nice

    I've stayed in Jury's a couple of times. Lovely central enough location and last time I was lucky to have a corner room with views of two streets. It's handy for the Crown pub. The staff there were lovely too. I think they do have car parking as I remember looking inro it last time but changed my mind and decided on taking the train instead.

    Europa seconded. It’s like the shelbourne, but much cheaper. Great location and valet parking for a tenner (or so)

    stayefd in the Clayton, The Europa and the Grand Central and would reccomend all 3, no onsite parking but they all have deals with lcal car parks.

    alternatively the Stormont Estate is part of the Hastings group also, has parking and is a short Glider journey from the city centre
