    Hi,
Looking to redo an outdoor shed / glass house. So would like the roof to be see thru, well everything ideally.

Glass seems to expensive to buy in standard sizes, messing with odd sizes is a nightmare, which kinda rules out private ads.

There is ridged perspex(not sure of the name) stuff that you can see in Woodies/B&Q, as well as flat stuff that is rated for outdoors. They are not huge prices but it all adds up.

Can anyone recommend a solution/where to buy? So something that suits plant growing outdoors, weight of an odd cat jumping on it, doesn't go that yellow brittle after a year or two. Well aware these sheets are in demand given Covid but just planning for the moment.

I think perspex has risen in price lately due to demand from shop retailers fitting our screens, it wasnt cheap anyway before that

Ordered some earlier, were €5 each from a glass place.

I can't see you getting it second hand.

Thanks for your reply Got quotes ranging from 6 to €8 per pane collected. Sounds expensive .

I presume that a polytunnel would be a lot less expensive that either glass or perspex, if you wanted to go that route

Do you want it to look good or are you just wanting covering for growing veg?
