Ok looking to hire or buy a Cargo box for SUV

Was looking at hire but one company charging €140 another €100 plus but need to drive a bit to get to where they fit them

Any hire company's that anyone can recommend ?

Would consider buying one if they are easy to fix and remove etc as not very good at these things

Have raised bars on car roof

    All suggestions welcome

    Thanks

Id look at micksgarage or europarts, both very good, no affiliation , just used them in the past , just a tip, if you do get one , make sure it opens to passenger side, or you’ll be parking contraflow if your accessing it street side

Yep was looking at them and did not think they would be that expensive

Tried some in the UK but they dont ship to Ireland

Any other places to hire other than 2 that come up with Google search

Check Adverts and Donedeal for 2nd hand ones, could be cheaper than renting

Keep an eye on Amazon warehouse, when I bought my roofbox they did not ship to Ireland but no such restrictions apply to the warehouse...

What car model is it out of interest?

    Seat Ateca

Boot should have enough room but there will be more than usual travellign with us thus reason for extra storage

Might visit Europarts in the morning if I can get into the shop. May try Halfords also but think you have to order online with them but want to see it first and chat about it

Want one that will last including bars and would do on any new car purchase

    Cheers

Better yet, we'd recommend a double sided opening roof box, then you don't have to worry about loading / unloading from just one side. The WEGO boxes on the below link are all double sided opening.
