Tractor Lifts Dropping

I've a Zetor 5211. Lately the lifts have started dropping about a third of the way down after raising to the top and letting go the lever.

Any ideas what this may be? Thought it was low oil but checked and all ok. Mechanic up to his eyes with contractors so can't take a look for a few days. Any help appreciated.

Have you changed the backend oil and filter recently, could the filter be blocked up?

Is it trobing or still when it lowers

When you say it drops when you let go of the leaver, do you mean the leaver moves, causing the lift to drop?

I don’t know where the position/draft control is on a Zetor, but make sure that it’s set to ‘position’.

Was serviced after the winter at the end of March roughly. I'll look anyways

Yeah the leaver drops. I assumed myself it was a leaver issue but couldn't find anything online. Thought it might be lose or something :pac:

If the leaver is dropping, it's probably as simple as something lose in the linkage somewhere. Does the leaver feel any loser than it used to be? It might just need tightening at the joint at the bottom of the leaver. Otherwise, follow the linkage from the leaver as far as you can....Hopefully you'll find a lose joint somewhere...

The simple “fix” is take the ring from the lid of a 5 gallon plastic oil can and hook it round the lever.
Neighbours zeroth does the same thing and that what he did to keep working.
Obviously it’s something that’s common to zetors so you should find a proper fix somewhere.
