    I'm not sure if I ever did send a nominations list or not. :o I thought I did but have no record of it in my Sent box (though I did have to delete some messages recently, so I might have just removed it). So if I did send one, I've no idea how many are still left!

    Sad to see no nominations for PJ Harvey or Cat Power though - Moon Pix is my go-to album when I'm feeling really down and want to wallow in beautifully soul-crushing sadness.

    Believe it or not, PJ Harvey was the last artist I cut when I sent my additional 5 nominations to kolido. It was between her and Rammstein and I was hoping that someone else would nominate her. Also I only really like one of her 90s album, To Bring You My Love.

    2025 gigs: Selofan, Alison Moyet, Wardruna, Gavin Friday, Orla Gartland, The Courettes, Scissor Sisters, Nine Inch Nails, Rhiannon Giddens, New Purple Celebration, Nova Twins

    No, just a waste of good money :D

    I will assume that you've never been to a Depeche Mode concert then.
    One of the best live bands, and Dave Gahan still a great showman.

    Ah I meant it in fun. No I haven't been to a Depeche Mode concert, I'm sure they may be fabulous performers, I just don't enjoy their music.

    @The Mighty Quinn

    There’s a pub in Perth called The Mighty Quinn and every time you post, I think of going there for a beer! :D

    Is it pretentious to go to see Depeche Mode?:confused:

    It is.

    Have never been to a depeche mode concert either, but I’d challenge anyone to watch enjoy the silence live on YouTube and not want to be there.

    With the way these threads go I wouldn't be surprised if spice girls knocked them out

    Well I though maybe Pearl Jam might give them some stiff competition, but they came within a hair's breadth of being wiped out by Steps!!!

    Saw them twice in 2017. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Great atmosphere there

    Johnny Cash got totalled as well, and the 90's were arguably his best decade.

    Yeah, but he lost against Beck, which I think is fair.

    REM might have enough appeal across the board to do it; in a way it would be fitting for the two artists who contested the 'Best Song of the 90's' thread to fight it out again here.

    Neither is my first choice but I wouldn't be mad if either won.
