    Just another thought on those go fund me type websites, and nothing to do with the lady earlier, but are they not a serious concern in relation to money laundering? Couldn't criminal organisations use this to legitimize money gained from dubious sources?

    Along with many other ways. Some ebay transactions are very suspicious.

    I’d say there was an issue with insurance (or no insurance) and uncle feels a certain responsibility to see she is looked after, so fair enough.
