Oirish. I’m well used to KLM, exact same as Air France in terms of pokey seats etc.
However KLM look after you very well in Amsterdam if you miss a flight. In fact I thoroughly enjoyed my enforced stopover there in the nice hotel.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I'll send you a Pm with my experience of KLM and a missed flight...

I heard Rinan Collins mention on his show that today was the 5th anniversary of the closure of Clerys. I thought Joe would have devoted the entire programme to that.

He'll do a month on that when we're PC (Post Covid so to speak as they say)

Can you add me to that list caller? Thank you for your servce!

Shelf life is 7 years, er... I think my family got theres about 20 years ago.

OK nevermind. I was genuinely interested in getting some, but not if they are 13 years out of date from the back of your press.

Btw I got my solution from Prof Barry, whose Department’s investigation & response I was able to forward to my pharmacist. It turns out the pharmacies should NOT be charging patients for “non-coded” prescribed stoma supplies (the things that aren’t the bags and sealant pastes), but rather applying to the department to be reimbursed. Could turn out to be a bit of a cash-flow issue with them, but I’m sure there could be a workaround to that. I don’t know whether or not they already knew this, but I normally have a very good relationship with them and don’t want to sully that by claiming my full rights to refunds from past purchase. Or I could go on Joe’s show and make a holy show, so to speak, like dat hurted soldier in Sligo.

Nice result Cat. I wouldn't bother looking for reimbursement for previous months,I would be looking for this months though and wouldn't be paying going forward ( can't believe I used that phrase,I bloody hate it )

Actually I might still be on Lahvlahn yet. My pharmacist replied that she has been through lengthy conversations with the very person who emailed me and they refused to stand by covering these items, which incidentally, I’m given to believe, Medical Card patients must also pay for at great expense to a person of low income. It puts Versatis in the Kenny place. What are patient advocacy groups doing, eg Irish Society for Crohns & Colitis, and Irish Cancer Society? They’re not really worth their salt in my opinion, in some respects. I emailed the chemist’s response back to HSE, and they will talk on Monday. I’ve opened up a hornet’s nest.

I can hardly believe that somebody hasn’t spoken on Liveline about this yet, unless of course I missed it some time. My original email to Prof Barry was copied to Simon Harris, and of course he personally would be very familiar with the subject as an IBD patient. If necessary I will re-raise it back at political level and if absolutely necessary I will speak on radio to one of the programs.
