Are BOI account to BOI account electronic fund transfers instant?

Hi, Is it an instant transfer if I use 365online to transfer funds out of my BOI account at branch X to Joe who has a BOI account at branch Y? Thanks.

Hi Champ, thanks for reaching out to us here on Boards.ie.

When making a transfer to another Bank of Ireland account it would be instant, even if both customers accounts are held in different branches.

If you make this transfer by logging on to www.365Online.com or to your mobile or tablet app then the payee would receive this transfer as soon as it’s sent.
