Qashqai worth the upgrade?

    Currently driving a 152 Qashqai Pet SV with circa 100K KM on it. Shopping around currently and have been offered a 192 SV for €13K trade in or a 182 SV for 10K trade in, both with around 20,000 KM on them.

    Does anyone reckon this is a good deal? I’m trying to think down the line in 3-5 years for what position we might be in with regards to depreciation and maintenance on the current car. The current car also needs a new gearbox but had an engine replacement (free of charge) back in 2018.

    Sounds like the car you have now is a right lemon. 13k to go up 4 years doesn't sound too bad being honest but have you priced around other garages for the same type car? Regarding depreciation, Qashqai's normally keep their value quite good as plenty of people still like them but there is an all new Qashqai model being launched next year so that will have a bearing on resale values of current models.
