Around 200 with NFC and notification led?

Time to update my Huawei m8 lite. Have a had a quick look around but I'm struggling to find anything with both NFC and a colour notification LED for under 200. Are these features not wanted/needed these days for some reason

Also, not too familiar with recent Chinese offerings at all but open to anything.

Any recommendations?

actually the redmi note 9 doesn't have the notification light

pro and s ones do I believe.

Thanks again! Unfortunately from what I can make out it's only a white led and not rgb and customizable which was actually quite handy for me. Still can't fathom why they got rid of this kinda thing. Do phones notify you some other way nowadays?

It's not something that would define whether to purchase a particular phone for most people. Camera, battery, storage and ram would be the big things that have been focused on by manufacturers. It's likely been lost in the trade off.

That might be a good shout. Shame it's only 32gb but could possibly be ok

Always-on displays. You can also use an app like this to add more customisation and lighting effects if needs be.

It's a shame as I'm not a big phone user but find it immensely helpful to be able to glance at my phone on table etc and tell from the colour what might or might not need attention

Eh, wow! Really feeling like a luddite now with my request if this kinda thing is possible with todays devices :pac: Does a phone need to be high end to have this AOD feature or is it standard for all now?

The majority of phones these days that don't have notification LEDs have some form of it I would say. And you can use a third party app like the one above to get it even if your phone doesn't come with it out of the box (although there will be some battery drain if your phone screen is LCD).

The Nokia 7.2 has both of your requests and is stock Android. Currently on sale on Amazon for £199. Notification lights are rare these days though, this one is on the power button surround, a nice design. It has excellent specs.

Hi - May I ask please does the notification light keep blinking until you check the phone or does it blink just for a specified period of time? Thanks
