Nice cycle routes around county Galway?

Hi,
I'm living in Turloughmore, East Galway and looking for any cycling routes that you'd recommend.

There's some nice ones around me ( e.g. Turloughmore- Athenry) but looking for others, willing to drive to get to staring point.

What sort of cycles? Are you using a road bike and long cycles or looking for forest paths etc that you can cycle?

Hi,
atm road cycles, duration 1 to 4 hours.
I love non-main roads (less traffic), bendy/windy roads if that helps.

From Rahoon the back roads to Spiddal is another one I like.

I suppose you drive to the start of the loop so anywhere in the county is good?

If you're up for a challenge, there's Derroura Mountain bike trail about halfway out between Oughterard and Ma'am Cross. I think the bike rental shop has reopened but I won't swear to it.
