Identify fitting !!!

Anyone able to make out what Type of fixing that this is .. I appreciate the majority of it is in the wall !!! It’s fitted a timber 3x2 to an external house wall Thanks Paddy

Compression anchor or Express nail.I call them Compression anchors.

It looks like the sharp end of an anchor.

I wonder if someone ground off the end of one, and fitted it backwards.
-much less unsightly, especially as they never ever seem to finish tidy.
