    Is ARGOS open again?

Not sure about other locations, but Galway open today, I think stores with their own street front have opened, but those in Shopping Centres are still closed.

Yes Argos is opened from today. Better reserve online and go collect the items.

Decent price! Amazon had it at 30 before according to camelcamelcamel briefly

I got another clippers in Argos, the width on the clippers is not great on these, if you can you'll have a better time with a wider clip.
Keep an eye out for Wahl maybe

I picked up one in the Carlow branch this morning.

Looks like a pretty good deal.

    Thanks to the OP! :)

Thanks OP, I’ve reserved one in Omni. Fingers crossed I can master this as it’ll mean I can avoid doing one of my least favourite things in future - going to the barbers!

Would recommend these! Have it for the last 4 years. It was offer for 34.99 in Argos when I bought it.

It holds its charge great and does charge quickly when you need to charge it.

It's a bit stabby for intimate areas, so take it handy haha.

Apart from that would recommend! Just gave myself a haircut today with mine. As an above poster said, it is narrower than a regular hair clipper but mine is mainly used for the beard

yes i agree the width is narrow, i have it with a few months it's fine for trimming beard but not so good for cutting hair on head due to being to narrow

Thanks op, got one in Carlow yesterday morning, and gave myself the hair cut I always wanted

Got the 7000 this week and gave myself a haircut last night.

Worked out good..... but just some thoughts.

There are 3 hair guards. .... a 9,12 and 16 mm. I believe this equates to a 3,4 and a 5 cut. Would liked to have a few extra guards ... to go to a 8 and down to 2 blade.

Bit all in am very happy

Anyone know if u can but extra guards...?. And if they are universal fitting on a Philips

Thanks for this info. I was going to pull the trigger on this but I’d need a 1 & 2 blade.

I presume the shorter ‘body combs’ couldn’t be used on the hair after using the shortest ‘hair comb’?

Got this yesterday, its great for the money

Girlfriend cut my hair with it yesterday and it looks fine. Maybe we won't all need to rush back to the barbers after this!

Hi. Yes there are ‘body combs’ but I didn’t try them on my hair!!! I didn’t see anywhere that they could be swapped in for a no 1 or 2. I guess next time I might be more adventurous!!!

If they still in stock in Argos.... I would recommend a punt!!
