Are you living out there, or you back home? Hope you’re in good health either way :)

Just went out on holiday. Thankfully I didn't have covid-19 upon return. Another week and the place was in lockdown. Mad to think there were 40,000 people there that night and a couple of thousand from Lombardi travelling down to support Milan. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but the Italian government already knew of the breakout in Lombardi then.

Italian football returns tonight although without the fans obviously. Juventus vs Milan tonight and Napoli vs Inter tomorrow. Both matches being shown live on BT. Be interesting to see what the players are like after such a long break. Zlatan and Hernandez out for Milan a big loss.

0-0 at half time. Juve missed a pen, Rebic was sent off for a high foot immediately afterwards & Kjaer looked like he could have been fouled for a pen which wasn't checked by the ref(of course). Juve have been pretty poor bar an odd glimpse from Sandro or Costa.

Poor stuff from Juve that that have to waste time at the corner against a 10 men Milan team

Buon appetito, ragazzi: Italian football jumps straight back in (IT)
A group of Ultras greeted news of Serie A’s return by hanging a banner outside their stadium. “Disgusted by an absurd decision,” it read. “You chase the millions, not the ball.”

Figura di merda, ragazzi: Italian football gives the finger to its public.

Inter bring the tie level. Ball went in directly from a corner by Eriksen which Ospina was absolutely hopeless for.

Game was really poor late on as energy/fitness levels dropped off dramatically. Think these games will help the teams in the league as teams will struggle to recover from.
    Napoli vs Juve on Wednesday.

Napoli fluffed a great chance there to win it there. Going to penalties now.

Gattuso does what Ancelloti and Sarri failed to do with Napoli and actually won a cup.

Deserved win for Napoli. Juventus were very poor in the second half, didn't look like they were going to score.

    Dreadful game.

I'm glad Juve didn't win a domestic double playing like that.

Dreadful match but happy the gobbi didn't win another trophy ! The scenes in Naples were special of the fans celebrating but Jesus social distancing really went out the window there especially for a country that was severely hampered by covid-19 ha. What did people make of the computer graphics in the stand? It's an insult to the Ultras etc but it didn't look too bad all the same.

I think the computer flags looked really good.

    Mad how bad Juventus look.

It's an insult to the Ultras etc

That ship set sail about 25 years ago.

Football belongs to television, it can make its "product" as artificial as it wants. A fake game for a world of smartphone junkies.

Atalanta look impressive as ever. Nice little tribute during the minute silence as well. Inter should win this handy , sampdoria look so poor at the back. Saying that the inter goals were worked well on their part.

Surprising result by Milan, I didnt think they would score 4 goals without a proper CF

How in the name of God are Fiorentina not winning this match. They've been completely the better side even after going down to ten.

    That's really awful by Inter

Cracker of an equalizer for Atalanta. It's some match.

Edit: And now Atalanta take the lead having been 2 down. They're some team.

This match is absolute quality. You'd nearly feel sorry for all the people watching premier league tonight when they missed out on this. Atalanta are hands down the best team in Europe to watch.

Atlanta are some side to watch.

Would love if they won the CL this year. Outsiders but they create so many chances

I'd love it too but I'd guess that someone like Bayern or Man City with an attack as strong as theirs would destroy Atalanta defensively. City already beat Atalanta 5-1 in the group stage.

There goes the competitive Serie A title race :/

    Of course they'll be outsiders.

But one legged games gives the smaller clubs a better chance.

Atlanta were excellent against City at the San Siro.
There in incredible form in 2020

Gagliardini's miss is one for the ages, keeper parries a shot leaving him with an empty net in front of him, he casually shapes up and wallops it off the post instead of tapping it in. Inter went on to concede late on and draw 3-3, Sassuolo continue to have the hex over Inter, Inter continue to stink the place out.
