    I'm after getting a text from a Mairéad - her name is in my contacts but I have no idea who she is. How do I reply to that?

    It inspired me to look at my contact list. I've the same phone for years and there's a handful of names that I have no memory of who they are.

    Does this happen you fellow people of boards?

    Its probably Tippex hes sniffing , glue tends to burn up the brain cells quicker.

    She replied and it turns out we worked together 10 years ago! I remember her now and no it's not a booty call :pac:

    I've a neighbour in her 70s who's cocooning at the minute. She's not all that tech savvy so I look after a lot of that kind of thing for her. About a month ago I was adding 60 minutes a day to her package at a cost of €3 a shot. I suggested GoMo to her and ordered a SIM. On the switchover day she dropped over her phone for me to do the setup. When it was done I sent a text to her phone to test it and the texter before me was "Linda Bitch".

    I just checked there, my contacts have been transferred from old phones since 2002. I have over 1700 saved. Most of them have some sort of story behind them, it's actually nice looking back. There are also a lot of people still in my phone who have died down through the years. A few people who have done fairly well for themselves too. Lots of takeaways from various places I've lived, some closed down. And 200 blocked numbers :D
