Boardsies Decide: Greatest Sitcom Character (US & Canada)

After an hour we're at a 5-5 tie between Niles Crane and The Janitor.

Niles did receive a 6th vote, but as no reason was given for the vote, it could not be counted.

As with all previous tie situations, to break the tie I will cast a vote of my own and determine a winner.

While I enjoy both of these characters immensely and would rank both very highly on my personal list of favourite characters, one of them I feel merely added something to a show that would have been successful regardless, while the other I feel made the show the success that it was, so my vote, and the character moving on to the Quarter Finals is...

The Janitor has a good run for a character who got voted out in the first round, and there's no denying he's a great character, but he's gone now, so no use dwelling on it any longer
