Ok still learning game, but the back and forward between Phil and Derry, does it look fabricated? Just I have seen in previous games where people squabble and end up being on same team. Still trying to figure it out.

    read back my friend

I asked Abi about reads and you told me she posted them a page back, even though she hadn't.

Abi has been missing, with an excuse as we now know. Did she tell you in your backroom hat she'd be away so you stepped in to cover for her? hmmmm? HMMMMM?? DID SHE??

Sorry meant to include Vernon as first Vernon then Derry both squabbly interacting with Phil, is it a stunt or genuine questioning. I suppose everything can look guilty on first day

I didnt see your recent reply. Where did you already apologise for that? I'm having a bit of a stinker with searching posts but I can't see that apology you already made

Could be but it seems unlikely to me - surely it would be putting at least one of them in the firing line?

I don’t think Derry and Phil are on a team unless both are village. Derry has been on Phil’s case for an extended period of time. Considering it’s Day One and lots are talking about it now, I think it would be an unnecessary move for a wolf team.

But I could be wrong :D

I won’t be jumping on a Phil bandwagon. Wolves don’t make mistakes like that. Why would they?

Mistakes like what? The mistaking of Vernon, that's not a big deal really, his response is more interesting

Phil's current stance made me doubt myself but I double checked. Not really sure why he wouldn't have actually apologised though if he did make the mistake. It does seem like he made a mistake and confused Vernon with someone else, but would go to this length to deny it?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 5,361 ✭✭✭Conor WW

Like Vernon having more than one post.
Like saying he’s apologised when he hasn’t
Like Abigail having a reads list (btw, I think abi was taking about reading the OP a few note times not making a reads list)

Why would a wolf continuously make errors that can be easily traced in what has been a slow moving thread?

Yeah, those are what's showing up for me also.

A post to Vernon where he says it's Vernon's 2nd post but it's not
A post saying Abigail has posted a list but she hasn't
A post saying he's apologised but he hasn't

Oh really. You mean the first person to point out Phil's post about Vernon? The one you're now concerned with. I am suss of hell of that which is why I wanted Conor to spell out which mistake he was speaking of. The idea that wolves don't make certain mistakes is naive at best and disingenuous at worst. I've seen experienced wolves make absolute clangers. Which is why I wanted to know what mistakes wolves 'don't make'

So you did, sorry, I was waiting for the distancing team mate, usually when someone's a wolf and getting pressure someone comes in and puts distance between them. Didn't realise you first raised the Vernon thing, ill get back in my box! I had a little flag beside your name for the post lynch post this morning saying

"Nicely played by Frank. Wolves were role hunting obvously"

So when I seen your "distancing" post I dived in two footed. But I stand corrected

    Nigel WW wrote: »
FFA is still a good idea. It might not catch us a baddie night 1 but over the course of the game its somewhere else to look for inconsistencies. Even if people only have two names its something to work off

This post responding to Barbara’s post at exactly the same time as I made a similar post to her.
I don’t believe Babs and Nigel would be on the same evil team as Nigel continued probing her knowing I also found her posts dodge. It only takes a few more people to see what we see in her posts and she would be possibility for lynch. Wolf team bussing this early? I think not but I do know it’s happened before.
    Nigel WW wrote: »
Um, has the5e ever been a more pocketty post than this one? Someone is accused of posting wolfy and you a) move the shade to their accuser and b) are the nicest niceperson in Christendom while doing it

OK, looking back through babs to try to get my thoughts here
Responding to Gabriel, who had a rebuttal of Franks accusation made before Frank died.

Responds to Gabs reply on her earlier post.

It is consistent but its also got lots of optionality in there. If Gabs is bad babs can milk credit, if gabs is good babs has likely got enough distance.

Again these are consistent but don’t sit easy with me. I get why gabs might be top of the list, but I don’t get how we got there after the wishy washy stuff. I think babs is one to watch
    Nigel WW wrote: »
because leading a lynch mob that ends up getting a villager lynched isn't a good place to be? You realise we're talking in the context of your posts could be seen to gently push gabs as a baddie and put him up for lynch?

There’s nothing so far from Nigel that seems dodgy.

If Phil is bad, its not a good look for Abi either based on what Derry pointed out!

So I'm going to start with Frank who was munched this morning. Reading back on his posts the one in response to Derry asking about Ciri stood out.
    Derry WW wrote: »
The Witcher, Ciri will be masoned with Yennefer.

What does this mean? They'll share a backroom?

This to me reads as an informed post so very possible the wolves thought Frank was one of the three RVs.
    Frank WW wrote: »
Exactly that, very powerful as Ciri will be able to tell Yennefer exactly who Geralt is

Derry then ISOs Franks posts stating who he interacted with and puts it down to his GIF posting which to me reads as Derry trying to distance himself away from the above interaction with Frank as he was the one who asked the question about Ciri in the first place.
    Derry WW wrote: »
Frank only interacted with Myself, Phill and Gabrielle, and not much of substance there. I suspect he was munched for the Geralt gifs as much as anything. Wolves taking a chance that it was a bluff.

I think the wolves took a chance role hunting with Frank for this post, my thinking is either Derry set the question up hoping somebody clued in would respond to it or a wolf read what I did in that post and munched Frank for it.

Derry what are your thoughts on the above?
