    I recommend to those who are currently running low on Kerosene Home Heating Oil and who intend on ordering a refill in the coming days /weeks to bear in mind that the Government announced in last Budget plans to increase the Carbon Tax Levy which will take effect on this Friday 1st of MAY which will result in a price increase for consumers. Place your order with your preferred suppliers between now and Thursday 30th April

    Carbon tax
    The carbon tax on fuel will increase by €6 from €20 per tonne to €26 per tonne. The increase will apply to auto fuels from midnight on 8 October 2019 and to solid fuels from 1 May 2020.

    Check your own county's local supplier prices via below price comparison site although; please note that NOT all suppliers are provided and it's always useful to check other suppliers prices.
    I know in Cork, prices are NOT currently quoted on www.cheapestoil.ie for the following suppliers:

    TOP Oil www.Top.ie (Use Promotion Code: " SPRING20 ")

    Dan Oil https://www.danoil.ie/

    No way, because they don't try and make a huge profit off it they get rid of stocks quicker and get to restock again at the cheaper price.

    What they were selling it for 5 days ago (34.9c a litre) is now the price in a lot of places delivering in Dublin.

    Fair play to them.
