Infrared heaters - safe next to gas boiler?

    Hi -

Have 2 infrared heaters that I want to install outside/ garage.

    Something like there:https://outdoorfurniture.ie/heatwave-e-wall-mounted-heater-in-silver-with-remote-control.html

Have a good spot for each, but its either side of the gas boiler.

Put one up temporarily and looks as though heat is very much radiated directly ahead and that the boiler/ gas pipes don't pick up any heat from it.

Generally ok to install next to a boiler or is there a 'safe' distance, generally?

    Thanks!

While there is no specific regulations on the gas side of things, you should look at what is in the guidance for the appliance your installing.

Common sense I would think not within 1m of the boiler, and in no circumstances directed towards the appliance. (this is a personal opinion only)

    Thank you.

Put them up to test out.

They're much closer than 1m but have run them under supervision and even after 30 mins there little to no transfer of heat to the boiler itself. They're pointed away from it (they're either side of it) and heat radiates directly away.

They're in a garage which is open to the garden at one end so extremely well ventilated too.

If test for longer period, and the boiler casing body takes on no heat, would that suggest they're ok?

Accept that answer are opinion only.

The safest thing would be to E-mail the manufacturers of the heaters
