Things you mispronounced as a child

Elephant, which I pronounced Ele-fant (like Fanta). Phil Neville, which I pronounced Pill Neville. That's all I can think of at the moment. I know there was more.

I could not say kitchen, hospital and I called my neighbour, Eileen, Alien

A friend of mine still pronounces Penguin as Pingwing. I die inside each time I hear it, but I haven't the heart to correct him.

Lived in Glasgow when I was a toddler, I'm told I called the Kelvin Hall the Cobblin Hell, and a microphone a kanalkatune.
