Nice looking car. The vents are like the Lamborghini Urus interior, another VAG product.
Also I like the fact there are physical controls for ventilation not another touchscreen.
Probably will be crazy money once you add a bit of spec though.

Most don’t know it’s not there until after they’ve taken delivery.

Check out the latest BMW grills so.

Classy looking car there but....vag group really letting themselves down imo with the fake exhaust design.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,541 ✭✭✭Leonard Hofstadter

Good to see actual buttons for at least some of the controls. Now if only they'd do the same thing on the larger models! Touch screens are one of those things I'm really hoping will become a fad.

Not even holes in their fake exhaust style on this one.

God eurocarparts customer service is beyond atrocious. Waiting nearly a month for the second part of an order I placed with them.

Great, just about to look for help on here. Ordered about 8 items on 08/04/20 and 2 items arrived on Friday and Monday gone, in separate packages. No reply from customer service.

To be fair, the grille isn't too far removed from what they've been doing since c. 2005.

That audi in the pic is definitely a lot better than the lexus take on it, however I personally would prefer it if it was split across the middle like a few years ago.

Good luck trying to get through to them. The only place they are active is Twitter where they will ask you to DM them and won’t respond then and don’t bother with web chat as it just disconnects when ya get down to about 50. Lucky paid with PayPal so opened a dispute for the missing items.

Was in Lidl this evening, picked up one of these wet and dry vacs, only €40. That's very good value for what you get.

If you are looking to do a bit if messing with wet vac'ing seats or carpets or the likes, this is a good if basic item.

I bought this exact model in around 2009 ish and at the time I done a lot of valeting using exclusively this vac, I dare say hundreds of cars over a year or two and never had a minute of trouble with it. Lost it somewhere over the years, think I may have lent it and not had it returned.

Still appears to be the exact same model today. It doesn't have a detergent pump, it only extracts, so you would have to pre treat the area yourself and just use this to extract but if you're waiting for the lockdown to pass and want to dabble in a bit of cleaning with the fine weather you couldn't go wrong for that money.

It must be in stores a while as I can only find this super long link for it.

    Is the suction good enough?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,917 ✭✭✭✭Toyotafanboi

Yeah, well it's not a high end piece of equipment but it never struggled for me and I cleaned some nasty cars with it.

I never used any bags or filters with the old one at all, wet or dry, just let it work away into the drum.

Havnt opened the new one but it looks identical to the old one so hopefully it's just as good.

4 more items arrived today in 2 separate boxes. only 2 more items left, I wonder will they fit them into 3 boxes? :pac:

Folks can anyone help me find a dash cam video?

It was from a truck on a motorway. A car tries to brake check the truck if I recall right, and two other trucks overtake him and box the car in. The truckers get out and give him a slap or two and everyone gets on with their lives.

Was all over the Internet but can't find it out. Think it was Polish.

Dunno how you found it so fast. I'd been searching for ages and couldn't get it! :o

What do people reckon on this, replace ? The tyre I mean obviously the alloy is what it is purely aesthetic. Not that i will actually be able to get a tyre anywhere but I mean for when places reopen.

I don't feel as bad about this time as I was forced to hit the kerb by a van coming too fast and taking up the road. Have to say though while they look nice for an everyday driver 19 inch alloys are a nightmare absolutely no tolerance to anything.

Not sure if that’s just rim protection that you’ve damaged there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,917 ✭✭✭✭Toyotafanboi

Yeah, that's grand. I'd glue the flappy bit back down though so it doesn't look ****. No worries from a safety point of view.

The worst of that is the risk of whiteworm on that rim now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,551 ✭✭✭PsychoPete

Bit of glue and it will be grand

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,551 ✭✭✭✭bazz26

You'll have to change the car now.

Glue it is so. Yes will match the whiteworm on the other side of the alloy :( The other three alloys are decent enough so I should probably get that one repaired as there are a few war wounds on it. Just need to find someone decent at doing them.

No this one is a keeper I am afraid. Cars aren't the priority anymore.

No :pac: More a case of as it turns out owning a Golf GTI doesn't impress or interest a bank when you are going for a mortgage. I know its hard to believe apparently they care about something called savings and how much of them you have :pac:
