Dishwasher Vanity Panel Problem

    Hi all,

I've a new dishwasher (6 months old now) and when being fitted the vanity panel from the old dishwasher was removed and installed on the new one but it looks like the MDF where one of the screws which holds it on is worn away and the screw isn't gripping meaning the vanity panel is beginning to hang off and putting pressure on the other screws holding it on.

Any suggestions as to how I can save this panel and make it useable?

Remove the panel and drill the hole out to accept a small wall plug this should sort the issue :D, make sure you can use as small of a wallplug as possible and that it is a very tight fit

It may be possible to turn the panel upside down and drill fresh holes?

Two seriously good and obvious to anyone who knows anything about DIY (not me) ideas there guys.

    Embarrassed I couldn't think of either. :o

Thanks very much. That's a nice little project to have a crack at tomorrow.

What else is there to do when there's no football/sport and you can't get out much???

    Really appreciate it.
