Has boards got the corona or what? Posts from all different times over the last 14 years are popping up all over the shop the last few days and it seems to be getting worse not better

Can board's not sort it out?

    Starting to really bug me.
Sometimes it takes 4 or 5 refreshes to sort it out

Yeah, it was a novelty at the start seeing names from the past and what concerned us in those days but it is a pain now.

As long as people don't start replying to old threads again thinking they are new.

I wouldn’t be great with the old computers, but it always feels like this site is held together with the virtual equivalent of string and pritt stick.

I've noticed over the last few months Boards have really started to turn to horse manure!

They've often said it pretty much is. They've developed a forum solution on top of an old forum solution.

That's why all the old skins were dumped recently.
It's why m.boards.ie was discontinued a few years ago.
And the reasoning behind the categorisations across the top of the page.
Along with the 10k post limit on threads.

I thought it was just me.

I went to feedback to see if there was any mention of it but it brought me to a page fro donkeys years ago. I then went to last page and that was from years ago too.

Not knocking it at all, dude. I like this site. There’s a ‘retro’ vibe to the place. Just get the feeling in the background it’s all a bit taped together with loads of ‘do not touch’ signs.

Touch site has been flawed for ages now. Old posts showing, viewing next page in a thread issues etc. Use a desktop/laptop. Its an old forum that was never designed to be viewed on a smartphone.

That happened to me a few weeks back and biko was onto me to give out straight away for resurrecting a 15 year old post, i had no idea what he was talking about but in fairness he got back in touch fairly quick to acknowledge
