    Thanks for the post. ?

My first thought is that little lost schoolboy Philip who disappeared so many years ago - Rest in peace whomever it is.

Yeh was thinking that myself. There's another missing person case in that area, a female.

Most people wouldnt be aware of this info, myself included.

Gives some meat and importance to the OP now, instead of a random semi news dump, would have been nice earlier.

I thought of Philip too, Trevor Deeley was also mentioned in a separate thread.

Whoever they are it will give closure to some poor family.

Horrible as it is. I'd want the closure myself. Bones to put in a box and grieve over, rather than the 'what ifs'.

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue

The initial discovery was made on Thursday evening but further skeletal remains were found yesterday and the search was intensified.

The remains are believed to be of more recent origin, possibly between 5 and 20 years old.

Gardaí suspect the remains are those of a male but the gender or age of the person have not yet been established.
