Stove back boiler and rads

    Hey,

    Strange one.

    Back boiler stove only heats the rads upstairs.

    The oil central heating, heats all the radiators.

    How come the stove wont heat rads downstairs?:confused:

    its impossible to say without seeing set up

    but at a guess id say its the way its wired

    How many rads upstairs and how many rads downstairs?
    Rough guess been that it is probably just down to numbers, depending on the type of Stove ya have it will have a limit on the numbers of rads it can heat so that is why its probably configured this way.

    most likely as you say

    the stat activating the pump from the stove is closing the downstairs circuit

    and most likely cant run oil and stove at same time

    There is a stat in kitchen (opposite stove in living room) set to 90. Should I change to 60?
