Right then, I think we're just about ready to get started.

But before kicking off; there will be some instances during the course of the game where similar but not identical answers might be grouped together, and other instances where they won't be. I'll try to provide my justification for grouping/not grouping where applicable, but if anyone sees something you think looks wrong please let me know - not saying I'll change my mind but I'll at least consider your argument!

Ok then, let's begin with Question 1....

Q.1 proves to be a Sausage party, as the pork cylinders prove the most popular. Its crispier, flatter cousin Rashers is the Heeps; I’ve grouped Rashers and Bacon together because they effectively refer to the same thing in the context of a Full Irish; it's not pancakes and maple syrup we're eating here, after all!

Only three people go for a nice bloody black pudding, and nobody at all goes for white! Although Hello 2D hedges his bets by not specifying which pudding he prefers.

2. Name a breakfast cereal

Perhaps a full Irish is a bit too heavy in the morning, maybe a simple cereal is preferable? Plenty of options here but did most of you go hot and healthy or cold and crispy?

A very tight race here between two red berries; ultimately it’s the raspberry that sheeps, leaving strawberry as the Heeps. In the battle of the black fruits, 'currant' edges out 'berry'.

Three More Big Sleeps doesn’t care much for jam and decides that they would rather have marmalade instead. Sawduck meanwhile opts for a very liberal interpretation of what constitutes “fruit”, to the chagrin of dieticians everywhere (except maybe in America)!

Bit of a contentious one here, perhaps; 11 players say Fanta while 2 specifically say Fanta Orange. While there are other flavours of Fanta I think it’s fair to say that orange is generally regarded as the default (if I say “Fanta”, you’re unlikely to think lemon or exotic, for example, before orange). So I have grouped them together (Fanta would have Sheeped anyway even without the two Fanta Orange answers).


Coke 7-Up is our Heeps with Coke coming in third; ASLB and yozico go for healthier variations of the latter but alas it doesn’t do them much good here.
