    Just looking for people's thought's on various triggers, best/worst and everything in between, was the best an Anschutz trigger on a target rifle or a Jewel? What's better single or two stage, is the Remington factory trigger a pig of a thing?

    My own experience is limited enough, modded CZ452, Sako TRG and now a Timney Calvin Elite at 8 oz in a Remington. The one good thing about this lock down is I can now apply pressure to it and it won't go off. Previous to this if I looked at it, it went bang. The TRG now feels heavy and the 452 that I thought was crisp now seems mushy!

    My favourite trigger is my sako trg 2 stage trigger. It's the older pre 2013 model which is lighter and feels better than the current trg one.
    I have a single stage riflebasix trigger on my 204 set about 18oz which is nice as well.
    I hate set triggers and any triggers with creep. I like a crisp break with very little over travel.

    I do like the two stage of the TRG, mines about ten years old so the same as yours. I said I thought it heavy above there but it is crisp and readable, you know when it's gonna go bang.

    Had a CZ 452 with a stock trigger. Hated this trigger. Gritty, heavy and loads of creep in it. Rifle was great though.

    Tikka T3. Very much liked the stock trigger. Adjustable weight. Broke well. Little to no creep. I should never have sold this rifle.

    Had a few Remy 700s with stock triggers. Very heavy feel to them. Adjusting them was a bit hit and miss as well. Would not recommend.

    Unique Alpine single stage trigger is very good indeed. Fully adjustable. Great feel to it. Love it.

    Never owned a 2 stage trigger. Used them a few times. Wouldn't mind one in my next rifle.

    If Jewell makes it, I buy it.

    If Jewell doesn't make it, but Timney does, I buy it.

    If it's for a 10/22 Kidd >> Timney.

    Aside from that I have heard great things about Trigger Tech and Rifle Basix. Wouldn't hesitate to try them.

    I have a Timney for a 700 I purchased expecting to swap. Turns out the Remington trigger was great. Although, it would not get into range of ounces, it broke like glass. As a hunting rig, the weight was fine.
