We won't be smiling when we follow the advice and try to squeeze into our jeans. :pac:

Afternoon all. I'm just back from my one walk. Very quiet about the place. The only gathering of sorts I saw was queueing 2m apart outside Sainsburys.

I'm sorry your dog is so unwell Widders.

@Mak thankyou for all you and your fellow soldiers are doing.

I had a little cry last night but am feeling better today. Right now I'm stuck to the couch watching rubbish television.

We will be ok. We will get through this.

Thanks. And no harm in having a cry either, sometimes I wish I could do the same.. I shudder to think of the effects on the populations mental health when we come out of this madness, esp those of us who'll lose loved one's and the people fighting in the trenches ie front line hospital staff. The things they'll witness and decisions they'll have to make will never leave them.

At times like this I question the sanity of religious people. Who can believe in a merciful God who would inflict this pain on humanity, what kind of merciful God creates a virus who's sole intent is to kill people and cause dreadful hurt and pain?.

Anyway some day we'll be out of this, and every day we're here we're a day closer to the end of it.

How is the foot today Seph? Is it all the walking that is causing the pain?
And I saw this video on YouTube this morning and thought you'd enjoy it. My heart melted with the cuteness.

    Afternoon wherers!

Just tucking in to a fry (well I grilled it all bar the egg and beans) . Keeping busy round the house. Nothing like a bit of dystopia to concentrate the mind and motivate some action. Who knew?

Had my first Covid dream last night. It involved The Cure staging and impromtu gig in a local hotel lobby in Hazmat suits! I really thought my subconscious was capable of more subtlety than that!

    Stay safe and well, friends

Wondering how many litres of compost would ne needed to fill a bath tub. There's an old one in my garage and I want to squeeze in food plants everywhere I can.

I really am that bad at maths.

What else? Nothing really. I guess everyone's having similarly quiet days at the moment.

Thinking I should use my mothers day gift card because there probably won't be deliveries from the UK before long, but I dont want anything. Not bothered. Usually I have a flair for spending :/

In the living room watching Marvel movies. I’ve lived in this house for nearly a year and I never get to use the TV as one of my housemates is constantly playing his PlayStation on it. He and another of my housemates went home for this lockdown so I finally have the room to myself. Set up my chrome cast and some of my candles. It’s nice to chill out in a room that’s not my bedroom or the kitchen.

@ Makikomi, good post there a few pages back

@ Shoesdays, I honestly would be careful with those sleeping tabs, not to sound like I'm preaching but I went on them a year ago when going through tough times and they can cause havoc with your sleeping after you come off them, just try to get away from them ASAP and do it gradually, cut tabs in half then quarter and then a crumb, but get off them as soon as you're able. They're fine while you're on them but you need to keep an eye on what happens when they run out. Just please be careful with them. Not saying that lightly at all, they can be dangerous if you're not sensible with them. I would get some magnesium supplements as you begin to get off them, they saved my bacon big time and you'll nod off easier but without chemicals.

Anyway.... Bored senseless here. Already. Planted some courgettes and leafy greens so now there's bound to be an atomic frost soon :pac:

I saw so many people posting about solidarity and how people are helping each other get through this crap but the point people are missing is that it was US who caused it to start with.
It all stemmed from animals being treated like crap by humans and that's the lesson we should all learn from this imo, even if it originated in China it's still relevant to all societies, as Ghandi once said judge not a society by the way they treat their people but the way they treat their animals.
This will pass eventually and the effects will linger for a long time but the lesson about mis-treating animals should stick with us all.
If we have no respect for nature then this is what happens. And could happen again.

Just did a short walk, I had no wine (hard to believe I know lol),anyway I just opened it when I came home to see if I liked it,I do but now I can't close it.

Didn't get around to the wardrobe cleaning, did a big grocery shop and the day is just flying by,I bought an avocado (mashed and packed but 100%avocado) because it reminded me of Sephers when I saw it,I put it on crackers, it's grand but I'd like to jazz it up,no ideas as I've never bought one before..might just use it as a dip.

I was out for a quick stroll to wake up & nearly got blown across to Wales.

Use a lot of pegs if you are hanging the washing out Poochie.

So, Is this Saturday or Sunday ?

I plumped for Sunday because there have been so many Saturdays this week that I cant believe this is yet another one.

Down in Waterford they seem to think its Saturday  I dunno

Anyone with more than a passing interest in sleep could do worse than dipping in an out of 'Why we sleep : the new science of sleep and dreams' ( by Matthew Walker )

Cant get any eggs around here for love nor money. May have to ask HB's ducks to help out

I'm homeside ( cant figure out if I should be cucooned or just restrained )

( ask about growing things in a bath over on the gardening forum - I know someone who tried to make cider in a bath - it stripped the enamel off the bath  )

    Hope your all doing well

Had them well secured but could have generated some electricity with the bed linen flying around!
