Vodafone Gigabox and Guest WiFi

    I called Vodafone support today as I recently enabled the Guest Wifi on my SHG3000 Gigabox and it keeps switching off after a few hours. They told me that there is a 4 hour limit and it should be fixed in a firmware update in the future.

    So I decided to try the Gigabox app and found a setting in the app where you can select My Wi-Fi and then Guest wifi and there is an option called Duration where you have 4 options.
    No time limit or 2 or 4 or 12 hours.

    Am monitoring to see if it will work.

    Well it seems whatever duration option that you select in the app the guest network still shuts off after a few hours so obviously will need to wait until new firmware becomes available before guest network is any real use unless you just want it as a temporary network.

    Haven't checked this in a long time but tried recently and it seems since Gigabox App was updated this function now works and guest network can be set to no time limit.
