Phone the Guards and be liberal with the truth loud sounds could be a murder in progress.;)

Rang the Guards there now. They were sound on the phone but basically said their hands are tied as I expect. They said they’ll drive by and have a word about the noise.
My daughter calling me and saying the shouting is keeping her awake. ****ing furious, only yesterday we had to tell her her birthday party for next week is cancelled and these ****ers are carrying on like its NYE!:(

I hope that Mater death is not true. I know for sure (from a doc) a nurse in her 30s was on ECMO. I really hope to god that non verified death is not that poor girl.

As far as I know its an older patient . But I didnt ask specifics. I know a nurse in Mater and it was her patient.

    You count thanks?

If you want to make a point make it and don't be afraid to do so because you won't get thanks.

Its off topic but you should see the obsession with thanks on the Soccer forum, its literally an obsession and pretty sad for adults and even worse that it spills over into something like this thread.

ha your thanks are clearly worthless or as worth as much as a whore for hire saying I love you!

Get a grip of yourself trying to 'name and shame' people who thanked a post you didn't agree with.

I would say the Covid crisis has done nothing to discredit Greta. If anything, it may enhance her cause - people might take her warnings more seriously having seen what a virus can do to our way of life.

Absolutely.... all the more reason therefore for covid to continue. But I'm being cynical... I do agree even anecdotally the garden is much more pleasant without cars and planes going overhead. We can all see those benefits even in a short space of time. I'm trying to look at an explanation for her lack of presence.

Is the correct true facts not being released, I would prefer the truth

-13 cases admitted to ICU, representing 2% of all cases hospitalised
-147 cases associated with healthcare workers
-Dublin has the highest number of cases at 55%, followed by Cork at 15%

I would say the true facts are being released, just once its verified. Which maye take a day maybe to correlate.

Yeah I failed university years ago and never been same since. Not been able to function or do what I want to in life. Held down a job no problem but not been myself for as long as I can remember. I can't think of anything I could do to protect my parents that everyone else isn't doing but maybe on these I'll be able to think of something. Thanks for the kind words.

She's very, very quiet. Not sailing around Sweden even.

But this is not the time for messages about global warming, she probably realises that. Most countries are in partial lockdown and their governments are fighting the virus.

Personally I think the global crisis boosts her campaign rather than weakens it. She has been warning of a world where society gets turned upside down by forces outside its control....that will surely resonate with many people.

Came across something interesting today which said that the lack of pollutants in the air will result in a 1.5-2 Degree Celsius rise in temperatures very soon as it normally reflects sun light away (similar to the greenhouse effect). Therefore, if this is true, we can expect some crazy weather across the world over the coming months to make matters even worse.

    Anybody knowledgeable in this area?

Statistically based on confirmed data yes.

In reality many many more people have the virus than has been confirmed, therefore the mortality rate will be a lot less than 9% in Italy and 4.3% globally.

The use of the term lockdown is becoming ridiculous as we have a new lockdown in Italy tonight, even though certain people will still be able to go to work.

Isn't it time for flights from the UK and US to be stopped?
