The numbers are meaningless tbh. The ICU numbers are crucial..

I think they said 6 in ICU.

It isn't its name. Why can't he use the right name for it. He is politicising people's deaths (which he accused the Dems of it).
He refuses to use the name the rest of the world uses for a reason and that is to blame someone for his failures.

Certainly he can try and complain the Chinese hid the numbers but he has done the same by saying the virus was under control.

As I said on the previous thread, he only started saying the name "Chinese virus" after Chinese government trying to smear the US as the source of the virus. I can understand why he was angry, and I agree the term is not very diplomatic, considering Trump did praised China and Xi Jiping for the control of the virus in China before. Sometimes it is hard to be diplomatic with "game playing" country like China.

Was it 69 recorded yesterday? Or 59?

48 in Cork, much higher per head of population than Dublin.

Co Cork is close to 550k so not massively different, also first two community transmission cases were cork

    Wasn't it 69 yesterday? 7% increase to 74 isn't so bad, I thought it'd be closer to 100

Yeh its not as bleak as some tried to make out.

Yes indeed......we're actually behind where the predictions were, so this is good news
Is it? To me, it indicates that we are not doing enough tests and many people remain undetected. They've done around 5000 tests and there are 366 positives. That's extremely high levels being confirmed.

And Leo on about 15000 cases by months end ????

Only 74, not 740 then. On right track at least
Cock City seem to be ground zero. Maybe they should increase lock down measures there.

Can someone post the link to the site that someone on here was keeping of our stats?

    Thanks.

The numbers certainly aren't jumping dramatically like many were predicting. I genuinely think (and hope) that Leo's numbers for the end of March will not be anywhere near as bad as he said.

*Waiting for the inevitable 'Just wait..' comments as always.

    Late again. What a joke.

You are probably not the only one bemoaning the updated Covid numbers and stats porn for today. Unless they are late with your test results, what is there to moan or bitch about?

Remember, each represents a person, loved one or family. At the end of the day, its about the quality of medical care, not the daily updates.

    74 new cases today!

This was posted here before as a trajectory of 30% daily increase beside it is the actual numbers of cases.

Fingers crossed we stay below the trajectory!
