Of course, we've all made faux pas.
    Ever been inside a cave?

My whole life is a fukcing faux pas.
Yes I've been in a cave. Actual and metaphorical. I'd like to live in one

    Would you?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

    :)
No. My kitchen's a bit like a cave. Some questionable lighting choices were made.

    Do you take many selfies?

    No, none.

    Are you on Instagram?

    No, none.

    Are you on Instagram?

No. No social media apart from this. I regret that now.

    Know any good jokes?

What creature is smarter than a talking parrot?

    A spelling bee.

    How was that?

    It was ok!

What first word would you teach a parrot to say?

It raised a teeny smile which is better than the frown it replaced. Thanks

    How's your mood atm?

No, but my parrot can say it.

How frequently do you cut your toe nails?

    As needed to keep short

    Nail clippers or scissors?

The sight of nail scissors gives me the shudders.I imagine the nail bending.

Scissors. It actually 'hurts' me to cut my nails and nail clippers would have me screaming the house down. Scissors and tiny little slivers at a time with frequent breaks.
    TMI?

    No but it's weird.

Why does it hurt? Is it a condition? I'm intrigued.

I think it's a dyspraxia thing. I'm hypersensitive to touch and certain sensations (like nail cutting ) are amped up and become overwhelming and unpleasant.

    Have you any weird foibles?

    I'm not sure tbh

    Do you?

Physically.. I'm not sure? Personality wise.. loads! Like I try to rotate my socks a lot because I feel guilty if I realise a pair hasn't gotten an outing in a while. I'm overly empathetic to the point of feeling bad for inanimate objects on a regular basis!

    Am I a bit mad?

Apart from the toe nail thing? I have to brush my teeth and hair with my eyes closed.

I do have a weird one...I can't bear the sensation of foam rubber or sponges, to the touch.

You're not mad. Could it be a mild anxiety though?
I used to guilt myself about strange things like that.

I don't have a plan Im on my own and hating it. Ill try ro relax and look forward to tomorrow morning when I see my boyfriend.

Just meditated, getting myself ready for an early night with a book. One upside from this lock down - my sleep has never been better!

    What about you?
