    Hi folks,

Has anyone come across an issue with the Ford Focus hatch whereby water is pooling I’m the rear footwells? Happening in my car and my wife’s car.

Not based on any experience with a Focus...

Rear door seal, inner panel seal and window seal are obvious suspects.
But the source could well be in the front. Lift the front carpet too and check underneath. Just patting the top surface of the carpet may not be sufficient. There may be a layer of "waterproof" material concealing the damp.
In my case it was a faulty drain from a factory-fitted sunroof.

This is an extremely common problem with the focus. I have it happen with two that I own. This video describes what to do. It's actually easy enough to do as a diy job.

Good video. Watched it 'cos my sister has a Focus. Must warn her to check.
What a cheapskate design by Ford.

Same problem with the mk2 focus I had,
Loose air vents,at least on the mk2 you didn't have to take the bumper off to fix.
