What DIY project are you planning?

Your own isolation chamber/ man cave :D

I would love that, the peace and quiet would be a welcome change.

But no, instead am installing an extractor fan in the bathroom. But with that wind and rain the chances of me getting up that ladder are slim to none.

My dunnes had it separate, I thought there was only one pack left but loads on the end aisle, I think pancake Tuesday is more to blame though.

I only bought it for pancakes.

There is a newspaper somewhere that is adding 8 extra blank pages with dotted lines that readers can cut & use in an emergency.

Was half asleep listening to radio this morning.

Just back from a café and shopping run here. More than enough toilet paper available here in my Dunnes, but the pasta section was completely emptied out. There should be a steep penne-lty for that type of panic purchase :pac:

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

Lets hope noone mistakes a nettle leaf for a dock.
    That would be a tragedy.

    Proper ring sting. :D

Washout of a day here so I think a few quiet drinks are required.

I think I'll stock up on loo roll and pasta tomorrow, from reading boards they seem to be the first line of defence against the encroaching doom.

Deskside with self made noodle salad...with lots of vinegar, yummy.😋

Of course i’m still cycling. Till now the bottom bracket of the red bike is still working. Had to postpone the work on the blue one as a friend is getting a few square meters in the big garage of his land lady. And he will empty another garage with more bicycles and promised me a better one plus a surprise.🤔

    Might be a bigger trailer.😜

Same guy called me Friday evening if i could help him to move furniture around as the renters next door finally left. As he wanted an early start on Saturday i slept at his place. Was treated with a few beers and a real nice burger at the local. Didn’t knew that this place is still doing monster cheese burgers for 5,50€,🍔

Could organize a van with driver for him as well. So on Saturday we could fetch one of these old and geniously constructed farmer closets which are hold together only by two wooden bars from his uncles place up in the mountains. Remove the door and the inside, unlock these bars and the closet can be halved without tools. His one is painted with the name of the bride and the year it was made. 1885! 😳😄

We were finished in the evening and i was treated with a nice gulasch and noodles. For my ‘work’ i got a free pair of brand new Aldi sneakers as well. 😂 Arrived home again late last evening. I like it cycling in the pitch black darkness. Lots of noises next to the woods. Spring is coming...

Obviously my visitor cat Luke has missed me. Today he walked in at 11a.m. and slept till a hour ago first on the window sill and then on my printer.😸😁

Next time i’ll try to post piccies of the closet and a bit of cycling around. 😉

No bread in 2 local shops.
They often run out on Sundays, though.

Just booked a grocery delivery. Tesco slots are all booked up for 2 days in advance...I can often choose froma few slots for the following morning so that is perhaps unusual.

Fireside with fanshy shyder. Is very strong! Longueville House Mòr cider.

Would like to be more creative than just cooking pasta if it comes to it..anyone come up withany more exciting self isolation ingedients?

The True History of the Kelly Gang, in the Lighthouse cinema in Smithfield.

The film was about the childhood and later years of Irish-Australian outlaw and robber Ned Kelly, who was hung in 1880 for his crimes. Lead actor - George Mackay - was very good as Ned Kelly and Russell Crowe has a small part in the film. Very gritty and very violent in places. Does not paint the English in a good light. Worth a watch.

Couchside at home now, chilling with Fair City on the TV in the background.

Chilling by the fire having watched The Great House Revival ... have decided that I want goats! Was chatting to my oldest niece this evening online and she was recalling her love of Sesame Street when she lived with us many moons ago ... I think that I watched "The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland" about a hundred times! I'm feeling a bit like Elmo tonight! (hb doesn't want to go to bed!)

I've probably messed up this clip!
