MOD NOTE: Moved from WTF thread.

Hi guys - hoping this is the right place to post this.

I need to bleed some radiators in my girlfriends apartment. I have recently bled the radiators in my own house but these ones look a little different.

I’ll post a picture with this response.

Is it simply a pliers job needed to twist the part which sticks out the furthest. Sorry I don’t know the name of it.

If it’s not a pliers that’s needed, can you tell me the name of the tool I would need?

    Many thanks for your help.

This isn't a help forum but the mad angle of that lockshield valve definitely makes it some WTF Plumbing.

The bleed screw is on the top of the rad somewhere, you don't need to go near that valve only to make sure it is open. The plastic cap is missing off of it so you can open it with a pliers alright, yeah.
